Hi all. You probably know I've been having a hard month with UT. I always keep dying, not accurate enough, not enough damage to players, ect. ect. . Usually now every map has lag in it. Are there any tips on how to increase fps and decrease lag so my game is smooth on most maps?? I have looked on every page on the internet, tried all the possible things in the UT2004 config, and still get fps limited below 25 even on tiny maps such as "DM-Absolute".
Any solutions to this dilemna?
My computer is
HP Mini 210-2000
My Processor is
Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU N455 @1666 Mhz, 1 Core(s), 2 Logistical Proc... (sorry didnt paste any more)
My OS name is
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium
My UT2004 runs on
DirectX
Any help?

No. I cannot do this. My mom is on benefits and doesn't have enough money to buy a new one. (selfish people say "get a new computer")
Plz donate if possible.
PS: If you solve this, it solves my mc problems too

UT2004 is a 2004 game. You should be able to play on a 201X computer.
Decrease every graphics settings to "Lowest" and untick every boxes about lightning and stuff.

Stop playing video games on craptops. There's nothing that can help you and it's not selfish to tell you to get a new computer.

Decreasing all the graphic quality, getting rid off all the blood & all the lighting effect helps.

The machine is a craptop. This game is CPU-limited and his processor's simply not good enough. I can only just max this game to 200fps on an i5 2500k, so what chance does he have with a budget craptop processor?

I guess that in 2004 pc were at less powerful as his craptop.

Has no effect.

A desktop Pentium 4 (c. 2005 or so) will significantly outperform that processor and I don't think he's even got dedicated graphics in that machine. The processor that's in there is designed to power the most budget craptops possible. It's by no means a machine intended for games and nothing will help it.

How old are you?
Regardless of your parents' income status, you should be able to save up your own money. Be it a saturday job, or just delivering papers.
I had a job washing cars when I was at school

How is it not? Simply those who do say so are completely disrespecting the fact that my parents have no money and cannot do what you say.
a gaming computer is above £1000 and my mom only gets about £25 left over from what she earns.
Also no, i do not save up money, I can't save up £1000 from £1 a week ;0
Anybody up for donating?
I'm 12 btw.
