De facto ethnic slur used as part of a nickname, so a mute won't work here. What any of you personally consider to be offensive has absolutely no bearing on whether or not it's a de facto insult or slur.

http://www.ldg-gaming.eu/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=2012 was The_Mexican's mute for calling your mother a whore or something.

You used an ethnic slur as part of your nickname on a server where players are banned for insulting. What did you expect to happen?

A player of Mexican descent has complained that it's offensive, which alternative sources support.

To elaborate, the literal meaning refers to illegal immigration, suggesting the person's back is still wet from crossing a river to get into the U.S.
