Re: Sandbags!
to be honest now we can only stack 3 high, isn't that enough penalty? the bounciness is incredibly annoying

What is this bounciness people are speaking of?

Re: Sandbags!
Previously you could use sandbags to glitch. Now, they cause you to bounce off if you jump on top of them.

Ah yeah, I remember you mentioning that.
Good change! I thought bouncy sandbags meant like, walking into them threw you backwards.

Good change? You don't know what are you talking about. It is buggy, annoying change. Sometimes you simply cannot walk over them, even if there is enough of place to jump-and-crouch because of unpredictable bouncing. Glitching? Are you kidding, Aza? In most of cases it is simply another obstacle but it's behavior is quite different than regular ones.

Re: Sandbags!
They were being stacked on the freon server, so that someone can reach outside of the map and become unkillable.
While this isn't an issue on the invasion server (not to mention translocator makes the argument redundant), both servers share the same packages so you'll just have to live with it.
Sandbags are designed to block shots, nothing more. They're not designed to be used as stairs or ladders.

Actually that can be made easily configurable.

Re: Sandbags!
Even on Invasion it's not desirable that they use sandbags as ladders, but yes, it can.

Re: Sandbags!
In Urban map yesterday, they were blocking the narrow part of the map with sandbags and camping inside. The issue was that the sandbags were not destroyed, it kept using the melee from SK410 (a lot) and they were not destroyed. I hit it with melee until the camping alert went on twice, I hit the same sandbag and it was still there when I desisted. Also, I saw someone with an x3 knife, couple of hits to the sandbag and it was gone...
I suggest the sandbag is destroyed with 2-3 hits of any melee! It would help a lot to reduce the annoying blocking, but still work as bullet blocking!
