Question regarding Ballistic Recolors mutator

What do the "enable tactical damage" and "enable variable damage" settings do? Are they even effective in Pro?

The Ballistic Recolors mutator does not work in Pro. When applied with stock BW, "tactical damage" enables or disables limb damage and "variable damage" enables or disables random damage.
