The alt fire does 180 damage upon full hits, which makes it a superior shotgun. It also has near perfect hipfire which makes it even more superior of a shotgun.

I honestly could not tell a difference between using sights and hipfire.

Sure, it's not a reliable weapon in that it's horrible at range, but as said above, get into shotgun range and you wonder what a shotgun is for.

It seems nobody listen but I have said this several times before. Longhorn is OP.

The Longhorn has a forced fire delay of over 1 second because it cocks after every shot. If you have a suggestion for how to make its altfire work without oneshotting people, feel free to give it instead of saying "lolz its op gonna whore it :DDDD"

Drop the alt fire from 6x30 to 4x35. Comparable with shotguns then.

Longhorn grenades contain 6 clusters. 4x35 -> 140 -> no one shot with twice the fire delay and projectiles -> worse than all shotguns.

An arming delay can be added to prevent absolute close range oneshots.

The "1 shot 1 kill" option, in my opinion, makes any weapon OP. All the tears come from such weapons.
For example:
1) Longhorn secondary
2) Nano
3) Railgun (along the thermal view)
4) M290
5) Plasma cannon
6) FP7 , T10, Pineapples*.. bombs in general
7) Redwood slug?? maybe

The ones in 6), are correct in my opinion, one grenade boom shall kill you but the rest (1-5,7) of weapons become OP.

How to fix it:
Reduce damage to the border of not kill with one but 2 shots when an opponent is full health.

I've specifically addressed this multiple times, can we all please read it this time:

The Longhorn will not drop to a straight two shot kill weapon at all ranges. The Longhorn's firing delay (forced by the cocking animation) is so great compared to the shotguns that the altfire will basically be a projectile shotgun with half the DPS.

It simply is not going to happen. Come up with something that doesn't wreck the firemode completely.

Damage increase over range, so point blank right clicking isn't so free?

Then it can be used to pepper an area as it's seemingly intended.
