Its not that they will be unhappy, they will still have their AS-Whateverrace{(Turbo2TheMax)SpecialProExtremePimpedMegaHardcoreAwesomeEdition[BETA4758638950v] maps and they can still play them.
But now also us, players who like normal AS will have a weider choice of maps to play too

I am surprised by the poll results - both because of the standard majority and because of the significant number of Erotic members who voted against standard maps.

It is unlikely that this will indicate a change in server patterns. I must also point out that if we take the results of this poll at face value, 200/350 players are not happy with the current situation of all race maps.

Not that erotic is with so many, and certainly they arent all playing on your server. Maximum erotic numbers is somewhat round 30 and they certainly didn't vote all against standard as (cause i didn't).
You don't have to see erotic as a dumbass clan who only plays race maps. Certainly not. We don't want to boycot your server.
+ what a stupid generalization is that anyways. We're all individuals who vote what they want to vote for.
+30/350 isn't even 10% of your server's population.

That said, I merely make the comment because of assertions by, uh, a certain member of Erotic that it's a "good clan", yet most of their members vote against standard maps. To his credit, the person who made the statement voted for standard maps.

I dunno, I just expect that the kind of people who would vote "no" in this kind of poll wouldn't actually be clan material, since race maps have never been competition-grade maps.

I wouldn't call LDG "my" server, as I host and pay for my own.

so clans that play standard assault are good, the ones don't are bad.
and you say that the poll isn't clan-material, yet you start commenting that a clan votes mostly no against that.
and you're still admin so you represent the server so I can say your server if I want to.

To your first statement: Yes. That is exactly what I am saying and it is objective fact. Race maps do not give you skill.
