add trial mutator on those trial maps? (name?)
the kind u can type hold/wait within a 10sec timer or so when some one is doing obj.

That would allow one single person to force the full timer on trial maps.

Or, when someone is doing the last obj, just cut the remaining time in half or something like that.

I don't see a problem with people waiting at trial maps either. It's annoying to do so on standard race maps on the other hand - though depends on how long they wait (extensive wait - I'll usually force his nitro on etc. when I'm there).

It's like equivalent to team stacks in AS - if there is a team stack, an obvious one, certain people will still play the game to "pwn n00bs" instead of playing competetively (yeah the posts have AS vs RACE tint in them).

btw. We already have progressive timer support (see Derby).

If its such a big problem having 30 min to do scorpcoaster i can add in ldg actors to do just like what happens on derby...

But keep in mind. Derby if done just so can end up being a hell of a long time (don't know exactly how long) if you wait till last moment on clock to trigger obj.

Granted I have only seen a few do this.

The thing is with scorpcoaster obj 1 and 2 are approx. 8 min tracks. Obj 3 and 4 are around 5 min.

So If you wanted to have this system like derby Map would start with 15 min after obj completed you would most likely get another 15 min and then after that 10 min for completing obj 3.

That is the best way to do it in a fairly timed sequence and it would turn into a 40 min map.

As it is right now its 30 mins. Most of the time the map gets done in 25 min to 30 min if your lucky enough to have people that can do track first try.

The only good thing about the time sequence is that if your stuck with morons who can't drive map might end faster. But for the most part every time i see this map get played obj 1 is always done. So either way your going to be stuck with a 30 min map.

Best option for trial race maps is to either request to have them removed from server,(my feelings would not be hurt fyi)vote, spectate or just leave and come back later. A wait system would ruin the concept of what the trial maps on this server are designed for. Along with this you do know who plays on ldg... that system would be despised and trolled like a mad man..

I reckon for multiple objective trials maps, its better to have all objectives open at once, people can try a different one if they get stuck, and it helps reduce bottle necks with 20 cars piling over one ramp.

Total map time should be shorter this way, and holding at an objective would be less desirable with multiple objectives active.

Another solution is just to add a 1/dmg sec volume over a large portion near the objective, big enough so you can't wait 'just outside of it'.

Yes this could be done. However that would most likely cause more rage about trial maps then there is currently.
