Today I was thinking about a coin/money shop system.... it could be really nice :P My idea was that:

Earn 1 coin per kill
Earn 5 coins per win

And with a command you could see your money or pressing f# you open a menu where there is your status :D

With the coins we could maybe unlock:
-New skins
-Some killstreaks(I mean per example the killstreak LAW it isnt able if you havent bought it before you activate it)
-Maybe a colourable skin for some weapon...
-IDK

I dunno hunter. This would mean that the high scorers (Aza, Gizmo, Jam, Irobot etc would have far better kill streaks than the rest. It would upset the balance. Although it is a nice thought. I think the kill streak system is pretty good now and adding it so there are levels and upgrades like invasion would king of ruin it,

It is a nice idea in theory, and would work if it was tweaked, but the harsh reality is nobody has the time to create and implement such a system.

The one bit I really like is the idea of customisable skins for the guns. That would be pretty cool. joinha

I thought about when you press F5 there could be a special section for customize the weapons as you can do with the couloured names. And when you press Esc-Setting-And you go to the weapons section there is an image of the weapons in 3-D tourning around, and put this in the menu and while you are costumizing the weapon you could see the result But before costumizing you would have to buy the costumizable option for each weapon :P

I had the same idea some time ago, but I suggested that in another server with stock UT weapons. It was said that creating a live-customization interface for weapons would be extremely complex to impossible, even if it would show the flat laid-out base texture only. There was then the idea of choosing predefined skins for weapons, it would be possible... but it would end up in a coding horror and nobody likes to do that.

Just kidding ;)... I'm not really into point/coin system, it means the ones that play the most have an advantage...
