It was previously that way, but the close-range complaints are coming in.

Oh now I get it. 50 damage isn't too bad. It's not really a weapon you stand and fire casually, unless you are macho like Vulcan Raven.

Well you get it all the time , not in mid air only, plus with the gravity nali now, you end up in the air rather more than you want anyway, which being non intentional you shouldn't be punished for, besides I'm not seeing any advantage to jump firing? in invasion or anyone doing it apart from gravity nali induced.

In Invasion due to the never ending horde of monsters HAMR & equiv become de rigour to survive, especially as we seem to be going back to hide and fire rather than fight and run due to the non survivability of being in the open once more.

Yet again Invasion players get screwed because people in BW can't play right - great. :/

Look, I can't make this any more clear:

Go into the aiming mode and there is no self damage.

It's a super heavy weapon. Shoulder mounted artillery cannon. It's gonna make you slow.

This thread was resurrected, so read through the whole thing (including the post dates) before posting. The HAMR is (or was, we'll see) one of the two commonly used KS2s along with the Shockwave LAW, which also needs a tweak.

I hate the new HAMR too. How am I going to hurt monsters on invasion if I keep dying from the HAMR every time I shoot? This is absolutely ridiculous.
