What you think about this weapon now? Its quite a while since a HUGE nerf of this gun and it became absolutely underpowered - NOONE uses it now except some new players if they want to try it. After few shots they naturally change it, cause its ridiculous now. Even every assault rifle can deal more dmg per shot. I didn't use it much often before but I liked it - was ok. Nice alternative to a deermaster. Now deermaster is the only usable non-scoped mid-long range weapon, ranger sucks as no other wep in the game.

Post your views pls, I'd like to buff ranger for lets say 50-90 dmg. 35 is complete BS.)

i agree. R9 is too weak. it needs to be buffed. i used to use it in invasion but it is useless in freon.

maybe a 70 or so damage would be best.

The big issue with R9 is the aiming, you may be aiming perfectly but you don't hit the shots. It has a very decent clip/mag size and with good damage. But as most weapons, the issue is accuracy, there is no sense to have a huge/decent damage when you can't hit the target...
Last time I used it was 70 dmg per shot 15 shots... deermaster was 100 dmg per shot/ 7 shots

It's because you are hitting below the waist, it already does 70.

Perhaps the R9 could get SAR-12 sights? I do enjoy a crisp red dot on my weapons

R9:
+ large magazine
+ good sights
- damage seems to be crappy
- burst fire - wtf? is anyone using this?

This weapon seems to me like hybrid between Deermaster and SRS-600 > weird weapon

Tried it, and yap, is crappy.. damage is too low for you to effectively fight against any opponent in middle range. Damage was fine before (70 body), why to nerf it? the only one using it effectively was the Horrorklown...

Just because a weapon is seldom used does not make it balanced.

All it takes is two people to realize it is OP and then it spreads like wildfire.
