It is no secret I like Bombing Run :)

It is similar, but I feel with both teams needing to go the same direction, there is more going on.

If we have the two separate spawn areas so any spawn/target area campers are always harrassed, I think the idea can work.

I also like Bombing Run ...

It also looks like this obj in pathway where attackers have to bring back the core / bender to base (but only one team at a time).
Its all about the game, and how you play it
All about control, and if you can take it
All about your debt, and if you can payit
Its all about pain and whos gonna make it...

Tidied the track up, and placed some boxes over the unfixable cracks. A few more barrels, some mushrooms, blocking volumes, etc.

I've kept the grey texturing instead of the stripes however. The stripes look really messy under the track, and I can't have the barriers and the bottom different textures :(

Can you make the lava texture, less..repetitive? Looks like silly in that shot.

But I'm just being awkward, feel free to ignore.

Yeah, I don't like it either. At the moment it's just a water volume with a sheet of lava texturing. I'll make it into a fluid surface tomorrow.

Does this look better?

It's not very realistic as it's really sloppy at the moment, and it's very basic in terms of shading. But the texturing looks a lot better. I decided against smoke.

Edit: it's unlit at the moment. I'd better set that to false ...

I think unlit is the best pick you could do. All these bright dots on a normal lit texture looks weird, especially on lava which actually illuminates itself anyway.

But the wodden planks look weird on the curves. In general a brown/orange texture with grey trims fits well into this but because the planks get stretched too much it doesnt look right. I dont know if you made these track-pieces yourself with maya or max (if I had to guess Id say theyre from some Unwheel map) but I would recomment adding more edge loops along the curve, changing the texture or using completly different track-pieces. Its not a big deal if you leave it as it is since most ppl wont care but I would change it anyway... up to you.

They're the Unwheel meshes. I'll mess around some more with the wood textures, see what does and doesn't look good. I'm happy to leave it as it is though if nothing really works better.
