I remember there was vctf or ctf on the server like a year ago. How come that was removed?

I remember Jailbreak games with too much ppl were generaly boring (lots of players were jailed for a fairly long time, at least on certain maps). Voting could be set not to allow JB on high player count.

There is nothing wrong with JB at any count. Long jails do not happen simply because the vast majority of players play Jailbreak as TDM; it only takes a few players on a team who know what they're doing to dominate Jailbreak. I'm taking the complaint here with a pinch of salt because so many people don't have a clue how Jailbreak is played, for all the bleating about "muh teamwork" that goes on in Freon games when certain players are frozen.

The only actual problem with JB is that I can't fix the HUD because there are private variables in the base JB HUD.

VCTF was shit, ballistic weps + classic vehicles = crap, CTF was fun, tho idk if it wasnt better with Loadout. DOM and BR... hmm hard to say, the HP regen from Ball might need buff to make it playable.
Whatabout the BW U1 Coop on mod server? Still waiting for it.

CTF sucked. It was just everyone taking deployable weapons and spamming a chokepoint.

ctf suffered from extensive camping with mounted weapons.
vctf had problems with the weapons lockers. There are so many BW weapons, that you always received a random set of weapons at a locker. That means, you couldn't really re-supply your ammo because you received a different set of weapons each time you used locker. Additionally, most of the weapons were unsuitable against vehicles. The AVRIL or the shock rifle are a definitive must to defend e.g. against Mantas or Raptors. Fighting a Raptor with a random shotgun is not really fun. Neither is trying to stop a Manta run with an SMG. For vctf you need a limited set of weapons which are balanced in accordance with the vehicles. But doing that requires time Aza probably doesn't has...

Just do VCTF using whatever vehicles you want and a Super Shok as the only weapon, no mounted to worry about, no random weapon selection, all pretty balanced. I quite like VCTF Instagib personally.
