My Brother turned his Quadrocopter into a Hexacopter (even more flexible) and put a small camera on the botton which uses gimbal rotation. So for example he can fly around a person very fast (like in the video) and the camera will stay fixed on the persons face or something. Really fancy stuff :)

So, such flying things are widespread in your country? Here they are considered as exotics. Its kinda hard to come across them.

Yea, they are exotic here, too. But my brother loves doing stuff no one else does.
His Quadrocopter without the extra fancy stuff cost 1500 Euro so Im not surprised they are still pretty rare here since you can buy a couple of nice model cars or ships with that amount of money. Another problem is that you dont have much space to fly around with them in germany. My brother always drives out of town to a small field where they plant grapes for wine. Also pretty bad is the battery which lasts only 7-8 minutes. And they are already discussing about forcing the people to make some sort of driving licence before they are allowed to buy/fly one of those.

After such sort of revelations i start to think thats it all might be not that bad here in Russia. License for piloting quadrocopter is surely the last thing authorities would think about :).

And you can fly them in any place you want. Just try not to cause any trouble to others. Some were flying it here, within the city, among cars and buildings. And if you drive away... Free space is definitely not a problem here :).

Nevertheless, copters at video are so exotic, that i dunno what could be even more. They got special hardware in that room. Something like an infrared motion trackers or so. Additionally, they have written very fancy software, of which i have absolutely no idea how it works.

They don't need to be a quadcopter to do those crazy stunts.

Seems like a really expensive hobby to learn. I'm just happy with my $15 rc heli. :p
