balancer: problem

Something goes wrong with the balancer...
I just joined the server few minutes ago on spec. A player left so red had 2 more players. Then team-spec*Sentinel said "[Bitch]Jester was switched to even the teams."
~> How can I be choosen by this to even the team if I was on spec ?
