Is there any way headshotting people out of hellbenders from the front or the sides could become possible?

It works fine on scorpions, but would love to do it on hellbenders aswell

It doesnt work because Hellbenders have "glass" which blocks of any projectiles. it only works on Mantas, Scorpions and Minigun Turrets because they dont have such a protection.

It is possible to do, but requires coding. The aforementioned open-topped vehicles all block the shot with their standard box collision, but have code to extend the ray to check for a headshot.

Additionally, this extension will take place without regard for the physical collision of the vehicle, so a hit to the rear fender of a Hellbender, if the line were correct, would cause a headshot at the front.

A check for angle relative to the vehicle and hitlocation Z relative to the head of the driver would make it work, but it will still require replacing Hellbenders on maps.

He isn't asking why it doesn't work, he is asking if it could be made possible.

I would be completely against this. I have no wish for 75% of our RACE maps to become a farmer's paradise.

It would add an interesting dynamic to some maps.

Not just racers, I'd get you too.

You cant get me ragequitting, thats just not possible.

I oppose this as well. It's not logical and rather annoying.
