What happens on the 64-bit if you bypass the nVidia intro logo?

Set this entry in the ut2004-win64.ini file to try it without:

Code: Select all

LocalMap=NoIntro.ut2

I don't believe it's the logo making it crash, I just mean it doesn't get that far. I'll give it a try though. It'd be nice to not have to click through that everytime I start the game anyway.

I changed my mind. While nvidia is clearly the better option, getting into the game to shoot french-swedish noobs a few seconds quicker is worth it challenge)

ATI HD 4890, mehh, once a while driver chrashed.
Nvidea GTX680, so far so good fuck_yeah

btw tried to play in software render mode @ 800x600?
[Engine.Engine]
RenderDevice=PixoDrv.PixoRenderDevice

try reinstall/repair DirectX (if u can) or get a DirectX diagnostic

Not sure if its been mentioned yet but.. You all do know that invasion is EXTREMELY CPU INTENSIVE. You can always expect a crash time to time due to this. It can cripple the most moderate high end computer time to time.
