Importing Glass/Gates Transparent textures

Hey guys since days i have a problem and its about importing Transparent formats into Unreal since there isnt many transparent formats or better said some which i dont know! :/ And well i tried some programs but they didnt worked or was buggy and GIMP or Photoshop cant export textures into dds which i would prefer to import<3 So maybe u got any infos for me how to import them or anything else i could do ! Thank you

Nvidia's Photoshop Texture Tools plugin includes DDS, which is highly configurable (and supports alpha):
