I've spend enough time in this game to weight players skill by name alone, so basically it comes to this:
Red 2 good players, Blue 3 good players - not the best balance, but its playable.
Then the good red player notices that his buddies are on blue.
Red 1 good player, Blue 4 good players - balance broken, game stacked.
It doesnt matter if the game is 10 minutes in or 1 minute in, the team with the bigger number of stronger players will win. Thats why people like Nardaq and Markus joined in spectator mode, so they could scout which team had stronger players and waited to join the stronger team.
