Flashlight exposes you much more effectively than the target you're looking for. I think the most popular weapons in this mode will be mars2 with ir scope and railgun. For me the problem with tactical shadows is that hiding in one place doesn't provide you a significant advantage, because one of the main strengths of a skilled UT2004 player is movement and sacrificing it for the sake of being invisible isn't always a good idea. What really affects the gameplay is overall reduced character visibility which turns the game into pure randomness with players not being able to aim while moving fast, not noticing enemies running around them etc.

If it's going to be one weekend each month I guess I'm fine with it, I just don't want to see it on the server every day.
