UT2K4 problem - friend of mine

Post by Jester » Sat 15 Aug , 2015 5:13 pm

Hi there !

A friend of mine wanted to try UT2K4 but unfortunately, he has a problem when he launchs the game:

Code: Select all

UT2004 Build UT2004_Build_[2005-11-23_16.22]

OS: Windows NT 6.2 (Build: 9200)
CPU: GenuineIntel PentiumPro-class processor @ 2496 MHz with 2047MB RAM
Video: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 (5560)

LockRect failed: D3DERR_DEVICELOST

History: UD3DRenderDevice::ReadPixels <- UD3DRenderDevice::Present <- UGameEngine::Draw <- UWindowsViewport::Repaint <- UWindowsClient::Tick <- ClientTick <- UGameEngine::Tick <- Level Untitled <- UpdateWorld <- MainLoop <- FMallocWindows::Free <- FMallocWindows::Realloc <- 10910191 0 FArray <- FArray::Realloc <- 0*2 <- FMallocWindows::Free
I don't really know how he can fix that so I thought you could help. He says his graphic card drivers are update.

Thanks for your help (if you know how) ! (;

Edit: I forget something ~> He's on windows 10. I tried to check on my laptop if I had the same issue but no. fts

First, has he installed the latest patch (3369)?
Its all about the game, and how you play it
All about control, and if you can take it
All about your debt, and if you can payit
Its all about pain and whos gonna make it...

They have a problem with the renderer: they are most likely on Windows 10.
