Can someone help me....

My character is being changed to Jacob in the beginning of each match...
I've checked the *.ini files and there is nothing with the character, I've checked the force character menu, and there is no change when I use them or not.... still in every new game I have to change my character...
Any help/ suggestion to fix the bug is appreciated ...

Ophelia... is standard one... It actually happens with any skin I use

Back up your user.ini file, delete it then run the game, see if it still does it. If not, then you know it's something in there that you need to change.

If it doesn't change anything, do the same with ut2004.ini.

Thanks robot, I'll do this (again) I did it once and it just deleted my control config :S, so just reinserted the old *.ini ..... but just did it with the user.ini, I'll try the ut2004.ini too...
BTW the *.ini is storing lots of garbage from the LDG server, like tracking stuff... Old backup is 100kb when the actual one is 5Mb ...

It's servercache. In [GUI2K4.UT2k4ServerBrowser] you can safely remove every line starting with ServerCache=
