For those who are running at the default resolution choices ut2004 has to offer you can do the following command in console: setres 1920x1080
Or if you have a higher resolution monitor you can go higher, for me that would be 2560x1440.
I also recommend if you have a higher resolution to change your fov(field of view) as well in console with: fov 106
Offtopic, but I will give this a try. I've got FoV at default playing at 1440. Might be a little disorienting to change it now but it could end up being an overall improvement.
I did try to get UT working at 3440x1440, but I did not figure out how to get the UI to scale correctly. FoV for that was suggested at 120.

I do 116 at 1920x1080@24in ~2 feet

Regarding darkelf's post about map checking. I'll ask you to take a look at my 1/2 made map, then at leat the other 1/2 I'll make might be usable.
Just moving house so might take a week or two.

I've added a guide line 3). Some of the maps aren't meeting it, so let's have those fixed in some reasonable time. Just so it doesn't get off the hook.

Walking's going to whine
Its all about the game, and how you play it
All about control, and if you can take it
All about your debt, and if you can payit
Its all about pain and whos gonna make it...

Went through maps and found the following that may or may not be in violation of guideline 3 and 1. I may of misunderstood the rule so please verify or advise of any maps that are missing or do not need to be fixed.
Race maps that need authors removed from map name:
RACE-TheWalkingDead
RACE-TSC-WalkingDeadForever
RACE-[TheWalking]Speed-Bender[V1]
RACE-ColesCastle
RACE-Cole[IKS]Race
RACE-BeTheRaisMaster[Knof]
RACE-MasterOfRais[Knof]
Race maps that need [] to indicate the versions and to prevent double votes of same map:
RACE-Sprintrace
RACE-SprintraceRedux
RACE-Shitrace
RACE-Shitrace[Bender]
RACE-RainbowRace[C]
RACE-RainbowRace[X-Mas]
RACE-HappyScorpion[Normal][C]
RACE-HappyScorpion[Quantum][C]
RACE-SLTopia64
RACE-UW-SLTopia-[E3][REV]
Side note: Thinking of renaming the trial mash ups to make it easier to locate all three of them and that they all have same naming structure.
From:
RACE-TrialsMashup-Scorp(Pack1)[C]
RACE-TrialsMashup-Scorp(Pack2)[C]
RACE-TrialsMashup-Pack3
To:
RACE-TrialsMashup-Scorp(Pack1)
RACE-TrialsMashup-Scorp(Pack2)
RACE-TrialsMashup-Scorp(Pack3)
