Hello guys! I have edited the map for the Great Unreal and want to share it with you, for a basis I took the version from your server [E]

the full list of changes is very large, so I'll write the main ones:

new objective added!!! the one on the lake, now a full-fledged objective
optimization (FPS became noticeably higher)
removed unnecessary objects and textures
some objects and textures have been replaced with simpler ones
a rebalance of vehicles and weapons (it might not be suitable for LDG I did it mostly for my friends)
and much more

despite all this, externally you will not see any changes:)

!!! this version is flawed and I need your help. !!!

the first problem, the server of my friends for some reason does not see this map in the map list
the second problem, after the complete of the #2 objective (completely) the vehicles of the attackers continue to respawn.

Maps not appearing in the map list are usually a symptom of missing files.

I didn't notice any missing files. I asked a friend to download the map and run it, everything turned out fine. But on the official server from one admin that map is somehow not visible o_0

Probably friend already had all files. You could fuck up with changes, add some actors or textures or meshes or anything else which are not from stock UT files and were not used in map before. Or maybe admin is idiot, checking logs probably can help.

Anyway to get list of files follow these steps

1. Start server on own PC with this map.
2. Connect yourself (or ask anyone else) to server form PC with new game installation so game must be with stock UT files only
3. It will take a long time but finally he will download all files from your server and get a list of fies which you need for map

den see logs @ server, it says exactly which files are missing.

If you launch on own PC it will show which files YOU don't have. But point is to make it work not on your PC.

On your computer, open the map with this software and you will see all the files linked to the map you're trying to play. Then you can compare with the files on your server and see which ones you're missing. Just double click to open it , then "open"and browse through your UT2004/Maps folder till the map your looking for. There is even a "show only missing files" box to know exactly what you need.

Works only from time to time. And must be launched on server.

Downloading files by connecting from new game installation provides correct file list in 100%cases

Like i said. Check log @ server for missing files to list the map.

Add missing file. restart server, check again. You probably need to do this 1-2 times.

Or copy all files to your comp and do the check from there.

We have solved this problem! It turned out that the administrator has copied the map in the wrong folder:D On a different server we also was can not see map, but with removing from the name the UNDERSCORE [ _ ] map became visible, and it can play. lol..
