I'm having problems in a few areas. I played at a couple of places already because The LDG server does not come up in any of the lists. I see other servers that I know but it seems I might be missing others also but LDG is not on any of them. I came here and got the address but I cannot get in due to the game crashing. I'm also crashing at OMNI but can get into other servers so it is server side? Below is what I get. Also can someone remind me how to bind suicide? Thanks for any help.

UT2004 Build UT2004_Build_[2004-11-11_10.48]

OS: Windows NT 6.1 (Build: 7601)
CPU: GenuineIntel PentiumPro-class processor @ 3400 MHz with 4095MB RAM
Video: AMD Radeon (TM) R7 370 Series Graphics (1404)

General protection fault!

Suicide bind:
Open console using the ~ button on your keyboard and type in without qoutes "set input n suicide". You can change "n" to whatever key you desire.

General Protection Fault: This appears to be related to the map "RACE-666UltraHybridBenderRace[E4][REV]" and Antitcc mod. I would suggest removing this map from your client side and then trying to connect to server. Or just remove map from server all together, bad map.

Is your game version 3369? When I deliberately crash the game, I get:

UT2004 Build UT2004_Build_[2005-11-23_16.22]

Whereas you have:

UT2004 Build UT2004_Build_[2004-11-11_10.48]

Anti TCC may reject client versions that are behind.

Thank you and thank you! I had updated to 3339 and not 3369. I can get into the server again. Thanks!

I tried to set the suicide but this does not work. Set input = suicide .... I hit enter after putting this in and it does nothing. I remember getting into the settings and doing it but I don't remember how to get there and what folder it is in. Any ideas?

I also need to set the transport button after an obj has finished. After the obj when it is beep beep beeping, what button controls transporting back to base? Is this in the settings or do I bind it?

I also cannot get the nitro vehicles setting to separate the speed from the jump. They are tied together so if I hit speed I'm also hitting the jump which means I jump at the end of using speed. This is the most annoying thing.

Thanks.

I got the suicide figured out. I may have the transport figured out. Still need help separating speed from jump. Would this be in the user settings?

2 ways: If you want to keep nitro on shift, you must go to the settings/commands menu in UT, and look for the crouch action. Delete shift for this action, binded as secondary key by default.
If you don't mind changing, enter the game, go to the Nitro Vehicle tab when pressing esc, and choose a new key for nitro here (and you can change repair and shield in this menu too). As these keys are only used on this server for these actions, you can't find them in the settings.

Thanks Bono, that worked. I can now use speed and jump separately.
