So I've been wondering this for a long time:
Is it possible (eg for admins,moderators..) to see original posts that's been edited?
(example: I say in a post: "Aza sux balls" but then edit it to "Aza is tha best". Can someone see the original msg?)
(not necessarily on this site though)
Footnote: never try to be funny on a forum of your college. Fucking teachers are on there man.

Re: Editing posts
It can be done. I know for a fact that vBulletin can do it; RelicNews would ban you if they found a warez reference in a post which you subsequently edited. I personally do not have the priveleges for this function, if it exists in phpBB3 - they are either at administrator or global moderator level.
Never post anything dangerous on a forum - the edit function will not save you.

Re: Editing posts
phpBB3 is simply the latest coding used on forums and phpBB3 has things such as social networking integration. That's all i think i know about phpBB3.
About the deleted posts, the only way would probably be to have a cache within the FTP server of the forum holding every post created by the poster? Unless it was specifically made into the website/forum, the admin would have to go into the files to find the post.
I used to do web design and that's my speculation of how it could be done, feel free to correct me, oh mighty Google-users (that outrank me in willpower for clicking 'search').
