There's no reason to afford Islam any respect under any circumstances. At best it's yet another dated belief system seeking to explain the world in lieu of the presence of science. At worst it's an excuse for the subjugation of women and the murder of anyone who doesn't happen to be up to Islamic standards.

We're all Muslims in our school (only 1% aren't) and we all make strong jokes (maybe insulting, but they [pupils] don't mind) and others...Meh, even though it's strictly forbidden :O Mainly because the ethicnity for most are Pakis :O
