White squares instead of blood drops (only on LDG Server #3)
Somtimes i get white squares instead of blood drops (i guess) when someone (even i) takes damage. That's how it looks. I have this problem only on LDG Server #3, i guess it happens because of ballistic weapons mod. Never got this before. How do i fix this?

Please post your system specs.
Additionally, you can type "ballistic" as a command into the console, scroll to the Blood tab, and disable advanced blood effects if these squares are impeding your ability to play the mod.

What exectly do you need?Please post your system specs.
WinXP SP3, C2D T6600 2.2GHz, 4GB RAM, nVidia G210M (yep, it's old notebook, but more then enough to run UT)
UT2k4 clean installed, w/o any mod or something.
Ok, i'll try it, but it would be better to have all blood effects enabled.you can type "ballistic" as a command into the console

Well, i disabled everything on blood tab. There was no blood, but white squares. So, any other advices?

It may simply be that the mod is too stressful for that GPU. Ballistic Weapons is more demanding than regular UT2004. If your blood has been disabled and you are still seeing white squares, I'd assume your GPU is being stressed.

These white squares are some sprites / models / effects that do not show properly. Looks like some texture misses.
Is there any debug log in the UT?

I've just installed Ballistic Mod v2.5, works perfect without any bugs...
BTW, maybe it is a problem with transparancy?

It could be. Working with textures has never been my forte, so I can't say one way or the other.

Ok. Those white squares are damage numbers. It's strange that you didn't recognize it.
Well, after some err... tests i found out that this happens because of OpenGL (RenderDevice=OpenGLDrv.OpenGLRenderDevice in UT2004.ini). When i use Direct3D everything works fine.
But... It reduces perfomance (i loose about 5-10 fps) and UT freezes for 5-6 secs while taking a screenshot. That's pretty annoying. Any ideas now?

may i guess that you use nvidia graphics card? if yes, install the latest version (eventhough it tells you that its already on the last version.. the update before the latest one has a problem with updating)
