Invasion BW has this horrible bug where you suddenly and inexplicably just get a default crosshair and lose the use of all weapons, sometimes translocator too. You can't toss any weapons and even dying won't guarantee that you get weapons working again when you are rezzed. Switching between weapons sometimes makes this effect happen. Sometimes you can get partial weaponry on maps with a restock locker where for example; you might be able to use the bulldog (but nothing else)

I don't believe it's anything to do with bandwidth, packet loss or 'server lag' something has been changed to make this. It seems to be affecting many people from many places.

I think Admin are aware of this, as calypto has been informed in-game , but by placing it here, it reaches a wider audience and perhaps some communication back as to the cause and hopefully fix.

Packetloss makes you lose your weapons, all these symptoms are signs of packetloss. I am not sure why it started to get so bad, though.

Not to be rude but that's a cop-out, I'm on a rock solid 30 meg Fibre Optic broadband connection, all the analysis I see isn't showing any packetloss, minimal jitter and very little latency.

I might be more inclined to think it was me, if it was only me complaining, but I've heard a good 6+ players crying about it, from different parts of the EU.

This is relatively new, so logically, what has changed?

Server details/usage?

Game config or settings ?

yeah, invasion has more bugs tha standard chinese kitchen. And yes we didn't expirience those bugs earlier. I rebuild to get lost of ghost, as it was bugged, now i have denail 4 and still ressurect without weapons. Since I have to spend a shitload of adr to get weapon i like, when this happen i just quit. Calypto says it's aza's fault, aza says he has nothing with invasion, but i dont care, just fix it goys. Actually "PLEASE FIX IT", since freon became too annoying to play.

Most annoying bug for me (except for instant death on start) is in weapon selection. Very often I cannot select with a mouse wheel any weapon except sandbags and melee (it goes in loop). Only when I select hand weapon by keyboard (works if I have such weapon), I can select more weapons by wheel. Sometimes I cannot select translocator, sometimes cannot select all weapons but a only few. Often die because of this.

You'll have to use weapon number binds.

Looks like I've found the cause of the lag. I believe it's because of the server log files, they go up to file sizes as large as 70 megabytes, which is rather big for a single game. The log file itself is 10% events, and 90% errors from incompetent coding of BW trollface
