Just change your CD key in the registry, or get a CD-Key changer. Back up the ut2004.ini and user.ini if you are going to reinstall.Donnie wrote:Ok,i bought UT2004 for 5€ on Gamersgate.com,but i haven't installed it yet because i dont want to lose all my settings,"colour names,scores,etc..etcwhat do i have to do ?

Re: UT sale on steam
If reinstalling, also backup & restore:
1) the BallisticProV55.ini file.
2) all .uvx files from Saves subfolder, if you had Single Player campaigns (offline).

Re: UT sale on steam
Hmm:
1) Make a CD-Key changer app
2) Make it send the CD-Key to some server when user wants to write it to registry
Muh many UT2004 licenses
