New maps could be played...

On one day per week ( for the whole day or for some hours), all most played maps ( like 10) during the week are disabled to vote. So other maps are beeing played and not only the standard ones. I dont think people dont like other maps, its just the fact they dont know other maps and cant start to like them, cause they arent played.

Lets give other maps a chance, they have feelings too !

I dont know if that is that easy to make how it sounds.

Good idea. Whole day or first half of one day and second of the next day (may be opposite also). Few hours only due to times zones may not be enough but for start could be tested.

What about a Fixed map happy hour (or 2h) where the system selects randomly a map that is not played often and allows the number of players and game type desired. So the voters just select the game type (DM TDM, Freon...) and the system selects the map for the number of players. Then we don't have a 1on1 with 20 players , or a Freetibet map with 3 players.

was removed by Aza, cause the height disadvantage... He thinks is a shitty map, but there are players that liked the map (including me and as I just read you too..)

Harbor was good. Lots of good maps are removed, crap spammy maps are kept, don't ask why.
