All about control, and if you can take it

I can't speak for Battlefield, but Modern Warfare is shit.

CoD4:

3x frag
noobtube
stun noobs
ak-47 / ak74u / m40 being ridiculously op
m40 acog giving automatic 1hitkill
m14 / g3 being ridiculously up
shotgun noobs
p90 noobs
dead silence perk ruining the game
steady aim w/smg turning smgs into sniper rifles with no need to use irons

CoD:MW2:

M/L/C (Marathon/Lightweight/Commando @ TacKnife) which singlehandedly ruined the entire game:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxtXK6sYBcA

Marathon: Infinite sprint.
Lightweight: Faster basic movement speed.
Commando: Triple knife range (Knife lunge is a 1 hit kill and locks on if the target is in front of you)
Tac knife: Faster knifing.

So you'd get dickheads managing to play quite comfortably by running around at 200mph in full military gear owning people with GUNS with nothing more than a knife.

Killstreak rewards: The expansion of killstreak rewards made them the core of the game, and thus being killed by luck or similar made the game a factor of ten more frustrating.

Bushmaster ACR: Has *no recoil.* http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1xeAKNxCrY So basically MW2 became ZARK Rifle Mode.

I can't speak for Battlefield, but personally I find CoD the most unbalanced shit in history, and the developers don't give a shit about the gameplay problems when millions of people are playing the game. Hell, you still see people in CoD4 who don't even know that putting a red dot sight on an AK reduces the lowend damage from 30 to 20, and these people think they're good.

I agree to your point of view but graphically modern warfare 2 was awesome and now the third one should be one of the best among the call of duty saga!Better to judge when doing the solo campaign of both games.

I bought Battlefield 3 and I really regret!
Being a big fan of BF2, I have thought for my money but it's a real fail ...

Here are some details that I did not like:

- If you choose medication without improved your character, you just medpack, no defibrillator. So initially the medic is almost useless. So you need to do a lot of points to be a "real" medic.
- And this unlock system is for all! I got into a Cobra as a shooter, and surprise! No missiles or guided missile infrared eye, just the machine gun. Yeah, a machine gun against a tank, it is certain that you have all your chances.
- Same for planes, just to have a little fun, I ride in a F / A 18 and the same thing, only the machine gun. Worse, I was hooked by a stinger, so I press the X button to the flares. And ... No flares BOOOM * * You Need to unlock the flares.
- The same goes for the smoke on the tanks .. No smoke, also need to unlock it.
- The game starts on battlelog a really crap web page where you can choose a server, or to start a party co-op. Besides, the game crashes frequently at launch. It is impossible to play without this website ...

Basically you are going to shit in the beginning, you will just be a source of points for your enemies.
Add to that a lot of server lag, be happy:)

Despite this it is certain that the graphic quality is up, realism too. Almost all buildings are destructible which adds fun.

So my personal opinion about this game as I expected!

Yup, because of the success of RPG games, now every other type of game has a "progression system" of unlocking all the content. :/

For those who play Battlefield 3, this table exists showing the damage of each weapon according to your class, the distance you're shooting from and other statistics.
