But then there's still the problem of getting to the victim. Because melee has short range, said person can mow you down before you even come within distance.

You're not meant to use melee as a primary weapon, you're meant to use it when you're already in range.

But with the time you've spent switching from your Mars-3 to your X4, you've been shot to death. It would be much easier to simply hop on the AK-490 bandwagon, and use melee, a long range knife with far more damage, as well as bullets.

One keystroke to swap to knife?

If you don't have the BW inventory menu enabled, then it IS one keystroke.

Even if the BW menu is on, it's instant. Attempting to switch to slot 1 bypasses the menu in all cases.

July is half bright

July had plenty of team-colored surfaces, but, speaking of my skins, Velvet needs this more I think.

Don't know if you tried the nerfed suppressors yourself, but I can't manage to get a kill with a full magazine even when I attack from behind. I mean, I spend every bullet available and the target is still alive and running away from me. Tried both MARS and LK. Well maybe I'm a bad player or the suppressors were meant to be used for finishing off a wounded enemy, but on the other hand, if I'm bad then a huge part of the server won't be able to use them as well.

Why would you use an suppressor at all?

The Mars and LK05 are powerful and have a great damage output without a suppressor and both acceptable recoil. If you see a need in using a suppressor cause of the silenced shot and the almost zero recoil you have to live with extreme lower dmg output that's just fair. And if half of server is not using it anymore cause they can't kill anybody then the last nerf is working as intended.

Because it exists. If nobody uses suppressors then suppressors can be harmlessly removed.
