The system seems skewed to being unfavorable for lower skilled players.
They will be alive twice as much, also incur twice as many deaths
They do not gain additional ammo when thawing
With the above points, it's very difficult for a 'low skilled' player to rise in the skill system.

While the ammo critique is fair, looking at this in isolation is wrong. It's not a matter of an isolated 5.xx thawing twice as fast; ALL of them are, so they'll generally have more support when fighting and not be lone cannon fodder.

Which skill system?

I would say that in addition to a lower thawing rate, low skilled players should have a longer protection than the current one.
As Skaldy said, the nets (or just mine?) increased quite much since that system is alive, players like Mantas Venom are thawed in like ~15-20 seconds and keep getting killed over and over, I'm not sure one would actually enjoy that.

The skill system that is still collecting data, still active and determines how the teams are balanced and who gets KS1 for 2 kills and who gets KS1 for 4 kills?
That skill system.

On another note, where did the SRS-600 go? I can't seem to find it.

SRS-600 was removed since it didn't offer anything interesting (no additional functions) and also overlapped heavily with SRS-900.

A longer spawn protection might help them in theory, Oska, but tbh I rarely see the lower-skilled use their protection wisely anyway. They just press fire immediately on thaw. I assumed it was better to use it to escape, or wait for nearby campers to empty their weps before shooting back.
Plus, that wouldn't stop them being camped regardless.

Can we just agree to play another gametype that doesn't involve not playing the game? I think it'd solve everything.
