How can maps be exempted from the skill system? I've noticed AS maps which are not up to standard are exempt from the list and I would like to exclude the common spammaps (like Under, for example) which are necessary to keep the playerbase happy but have no bearing on your actual skill.

That feature is actually not included in BW skill system at the moment (in AS, only "whitelisted" maps are in skill system for obvious reasons).

Really ? So your trying to Balance so Called Playerbased along without Skills ?

There are maps which are on the server which may well be fun, but they are not good enough to be rated for skill. Spam maps are such maps. AMDK-Catacombe and Under are two examples: Under because it's small with few apertures and is prone to spam (well known for it) and Catacombe because the corridors are so narrow that you can't even dodge, thus making the map a crapshoot.

I strongly disagree. The maps just have different playstyles.

Majority of the BW maps are 1, camp the rooftops, or 2, snipe from afar. Under doesn't really allow either of these so it's a breath of fresh air.

Learn to play differently. For the record, the stock (styled) maps have the best gameplay.

edit; Actually to clarify, I have nothing against these being removed from the skill system, as it would be map I could actually try new weapons on without being punished for it. I was merely against the notion that it is a 'spam' map.

Pack too many players into narrow spaces and you get spam maps. I don't see how anyone can say that Under becomes anything different when played above 5on5.
