Ow wait, no displacement, no movement aid, no back"shooting" side "shooting", and maybe they can retaliate.
Finishing them with any of the submachine guns is comfortable enough. 40-60 hp target is a minor threat.
And to sneak in a full server is not to sneak, you just run and stay in populated or common areas.
And i get punished hard when not doing it properly, standing by the corner gets you either backrekt or stomped by a shotgun with the cover of his non-camping teammate.
Hide and wait in corners and corridors (a good example Highlander).
Yeah, good example indeed, glad i've finally found something to get people out of that tunnel.
Besides, you don't normally use Nano in big open sniping maps like blackhalk, rail, goatswood, or Dust
You dont normally use your sniper rifles on small DM maps too. I just carry a knife or a nova in case i get in a good position for a backstab, freeing the slot for something long-ranged.
You guard frozen opponents and stay around while they come to thaw.
Not effective unless you have teammates patroling the area. Which is a common thing to do when its secured. Thats why spawn invulnerability is here.

Seeing all the tears, i switch sometimes, but whatever i pick gets bashed as well. I mean, any wep that is diffirent from basic assault rifle, shotgun or sniper rifle. And its not just about me, its any player that polished his playstyle mastering the unpopular weapon, ultimately shocking everyone who tries the common countermeasures again and again. Good exaple - Kinjin with his DS. Encountering lifesteal and melee immunity (BY THE WAY) was quite frustrating at first, but its possible to deal with. It takes a little bit of focus, but leaves him in a disadvantage. I also tried using DS and was unable to reproduce his result, at least with that small amount of time invested. So i dont comlain, i know its fair when he kills me and i know he works for the result. Works more than an average assault rifle fan for sure.

Greed, don't confuse my statement. I'm not against tactics or game styles.
I am against no options or opportunity to retaliate. Nano is sure kill if you hit, only other weapon like that is m290, a KS2!!!
For a kill:
You need 2-3 shots with a sniper
2-3 shots with a shotgun
5-10 shots with an assault
2-5 swings with a melee
1 shot with a KS2... LAW, M290, MOP

and 1 with nano!

Does that sound balanced for you?

The effect is not that you take people out of the tunnel, is that you are the one that kills them in the tunnel. Or kill anything that passes in range with 1 hit.

neither I think you are able to reproduce my results with the same weapons I use, So I don't believe this justifies whoring a clearly unbalanced weapon and calling it TACTIC.

In that case you should be able to reproduce your same nano results with lets say x3,x4, katana.... challenge)

It deals ~22 dmg to him while he is using it. Yes, just picking a dark star is enough to get rid of my uncouterable cheap abusing.
In that case you should be able to reproduce your same nano results with lets say x3,x4, katana....
All of these are weaker than nano, thats why they are in a less important slot. Katana is actually much easier to hit with, thats why it deals less damage. I use knifes when i only need the disarm (shutting down and XMV or LAW). Charged x3 backstab is actually more effective than nano's due to additional speed boost, so taking nano makes no sense if you are not going for a whole pack of campers, then the extra swings help a lot.
For a kill:

If you notice me before i get in range, you can kite me like a bitch, given enough concentration (only 10% speed boost on nano). 1 good shotgun shell in the face and there is no way im chasing you further, unless running away would be even riskier. A good dodge is enough to get all the advantage you need.

Its quite difficult for me too see your side of the game tho, because no one uses the nano for more than a few rounds on rare occasions. Lets switch sides for a few days, pick some nanos and see if ill be able to provide any resistance.

Regardless of any argument made (I admit to not understanding everything), I believe that there should be no weapons that kill with one shot.
So, the nano's damage should be revised, for example up to 100 hp.

The real problem and the real question is: now that azarael is gone, who is able to make changes to weapons to balance them?

I dont think balancing is that important at the current stage. Unlike the new weps. Server population is currently back to normal (yay!), and we even got a bunch of new players that stayed and are visiting regularly, but i believe that our most dedicated may eventually start dispersing without the fresh stuff to mess with.
Apparently, the upcoming weps will have to be kickstarted. I dont have any problems with that tbh, besides being unable to use paypal. Will you accept steam games? Hats maybe? trollface2
