The new Jump offset from some weapons is annoying, for example in LS carbine, the weapons become useless when you are in escape and combat situations. I notice it yesterday, and I was wondering what happened to all the LS users that were lately increasing. Seems All good weapons are changed when there are users actually using them effectively. LS was very effective in hands of the Bountyhunter, Mike and In mine too, but I use it only in some maps.
Snipers could have reduced damage close that increments with distance to avoid the "shotgun" usage of snipers. For instance damage increments from 0 to max damage, achieving max damage at start of middle range. It is not only difficult to hit someone with a sniper while moving, I've never seen someone jump and shoot with a sniper. LS primary is more a long range assault weapon, as srs900, and is very inaccurate with hip fire. The jump offset makes it a not to use weapon for me at least....

LS is a long range weapon, so it being bad at hip fire is quite intentional.

i still use LS, and the jump thingy is annoying when u want to fire a rocket in the air. Its nothing about spam if u AIM someone on the ground while u are in the air with a rocket, but thats not possible anymore.

I often did that but well...no more

I'm not, but mainly distracts me the movement... if you just dodge it doesn't move... and you may need to shoot while escaping some time, is not like you can steadily aim in a place in this game....

But as I said before: I used LS only in certain maps...I'm not using double barrel so often (are the other ones that killed Aza repeatedly :lol: and he got annoyed...), but strong hipfire is with any sniper, you just crouch and voila... no need for iron sights... I've done this with all snipers except R9 cause this one sucks without iron sights ... I'm sure I am not the only one that noticed this!
Or you think Check or the others use iron sights and railgun? -> Crouch +shoot takes far less time, less effort and aims better...
Or deermaster? hahaha... is so difficult to see with the iron sights that you may have better chances just with the hip...
try it yourself if you don't believe me :)

The only reason Double Fire LS14 Hip ever existed to begin with is because the LS14 has two different modes (SRS-type and sniper-type) on one weapon and I'd failed to accomodate for this. It should be simple logic that a sniper rifle is not a close combat weapon.

And yes Check uses rail in close combat also, probably not the style it should be used to but well everyone plays like he/she wants.
