Your suggestion sucks Robot, it gives an advantage for your game style and hinders the other player's which probably were able to compensate in the game.

And wtf Aza is listening to your suggestions only...???
Same shit always:
defibs kill the Robot-> Robot nags-> Aza changes defibs.
Just replace the "defibs" by ... in this case crouch recoil

I am the only one complaining for the moment, and I hope other players will add their concerns as well, because as it seems to me, whatever I say about it does not even matter and will not be taken in count. Just bare in mind that I disagree to make such strong changes upon the "suggestions" of one single player.

If I give a velocity as a unit of length, length/s is implied.

I, too, would duckwalk in combat. The changes are not made to benefit anyone's playstyle; iRobot is so far above the rest of us that he simply doesn't need to change the game in his favour. Be mindful that you can dodge with iron sights up.

Sniper rifles received greater crouch stability in this patch, so if you are stationary with a sniper rifle and aren't seen first, you have a much better opportunity to kill someone with your recoil bonus.

If you dodge while iron sights, your aim bounces uncontrollably and you disorient yourself. This is last resource while sniping and when you are spotted. Besides your dodge is reduced. Being stationary takes from you far more health points when you get hit, and increases the headshot probability too. Being static in UT is really the easiest way of getting killed fast, and the main reason most players crouch walk while sniping and combat. Most common playing tips say "Do not stay still!"

You get spotted equally if you are stationary and /or crouch walking. Being stationary does not bring you any difference in getting spotted, but if you get spotted and they hit you, you will incur more damage.

More stability for snipers while crouch make sense though.

You have no idea how many things I've suggested or asked for on Skype only to be denied flat out.

and I'm not as good as you say, I just use the easy to use weapons. I'm no good with ones that require thought like longhorn or a500 (arcing shots)

Is my opinion, It comes from what I read in the forum and I may be wrong. But from most players he listens to your opinion most likely than anyone else's.

He's the best player on the server. I will state flat out that I grade opinions by:

1) Degree of thought and explanation
2) Skill of user
3) Potential bias of the user
4) Whether the user has varied loadouts

And I agree on that, you are entitled to listen to whomever you want, and you are entitled to your own opinion and criteria. I respect all your decisions Aza, is just that I do not agree fully to them all. Sorry for the bitch nagging (robot too), is not my place. This topic is for changelog discussion and shall be aimed to that. I gave my clear opinion on the dockwalk issue, you may evaluate it as you wish.
