Sad story,(
HMC, my longtime favorite weapon is almost useless now and dont use it anymore. It was underused before, now I personally dont see a reason to use it.
1) Dont wanna be acused of "spamming" which is ridiculous, cause killing with pulse aint easy but u dont need sights for it, its just one precious shot
2) Beams are unusable with sights to cause u dont see where they are pointing + there are no hit sounds because of 3)
3) Tractor/Repulsor beams deal NO dmg! worst nerf, just a trolling gadget, nothing more. Dmg of them was shit before, but still good for pushing backwards heavily damaged player with a chance of getting a frag. And hell it was difficult to kill someone who hadnt less then 50hp with beam itself.

Btw this change is just motivating more players to use fp7s and acid guns for prevent thawing and thats just the worst thing which could happen. I dont get it, Aza. You are fighting againts spammers all the time and now you simply give them a playground for their scum weapons? omg

HMC was nerfed because of the incredibly niche use of pushing someone against a wall and off the ground ergo making them unable to use sights and unable to retaliate properly. Knee jerk reaction though.

U can do the same though, cant you? Only ends up in neverending pushing suffering ended by someone killing the pusher instead the victim. Nonsense. It was cool universal gun, now its useful only for healing with minimum benefits for the user. Why would I want to waste a main weapon slot and my time of the gameplay for such a devalued gun? Was my n.1 before....btw how many times have you been killed by hmc or do you even remember the last time someone killed you with it? nope? So how about fp7, longhorn, acid?
There is a serious nerfing movement against rare weapons and kinda ignorance of stuff which is most controversial...dude, this bothers me a lot.

Have to agree here. HMC is almost useless. The Beams are, for want of a better word, shit. They require great accuracy, and you benefit very little from it. The healing beam overheats before you can thaw them completely. The pulse is underpowered, because in the time it takes for it to charge back up again, any other weapon would have killed them. I see a grand total of.……… NO ONE using it regularly. Needs a serious buff in my opinion.
You see a mouse trap, I see free cheese and a fucking challenge.
They will try to kill you. Kill them back.

You don't see it being used regularly because it is purely an assist weapon. If we actually had good teams playing this game, the HMC would likely have been entirely removed or reworked by now.

HMC.. more like HmmmmCrap. Wont ever see anyone using it again :D

Healing has lower HPS and more difficulty to aim than simply using defibs.

Good job stating the disadvantages without the advantages. HMC has extreme range, thaws fast and overheals, allowing your entire team to start with an advantage. Targets moved by the beams have no effective attack, meaning that if you use a little thing called teamwork (the entire purpose of this weapon) you can get the benefit.

:) yeah, you can use it but your skill will sink... and as a bonus you'll be the main target of the other team first!!! I love the weapon but meanwhile Skill system is dependent on K:D ratio you ain't getting any of the "team" benefit for yourself or effort... I played HMC all the time while the skill system was down.

The beautiful thing about HMC is no RFF in health mode... but is just when you catch a low hp opponent by luck that you will kill. (;

PS: if you have your charged HMC primary you ain't able to go into iron sights mode while holding the charge...fix?

The HMC effectively does not have sights.
