This is very easy to abuse for skilled players. Should rather be that there is some 200 damage you can deal on such players before RFF kicks in.
The explosive exception is there to stop that being abused. We only hit people when they walk across us and have no interest in wasting ammo hitting friendlies.
Minigun has a decent amount of knockback. I can now grief people by propelling them forward trollface

Can you please write here how many people you have to avoid and how many I have to avoid? Oh and add someone with skill 5.50 too.

Since only idiots run across your fire anyway, who cares?

I can uderstand why you think so. But you only gave permission to those with high skill to shoot into crowd. And yeah even you or other high skilled players sometimes act as idiots...

EDIT: Are all players who have skill 1 less than you, idiots?

I agree with spin, it is unfair and gives advantage to skilled people.. and specially to you Aza and Robot which are 8XX and the rest of the server are more than 1 point below...
You can stop shooting when they come in the middle.. better to make the RFF progressively increasing damage so you may have a chance to stop shooting...

It already does that, and yet players are still suffering because noobs walk across their fire. Bear in mind that this change wasn't added for my own benefit, it was requested by other players.

Could you not make it like modern FPS games where if a friendly is in your crosshair, you are blocked from firing, and if this happens mid firing, your weapon stops.

You could make this universal and fair for everyone that way.

Yeah it was requested long time ago. You implemented it after you were suffering. Something similar happened with donations(when donation meant ks2 for receiving party).

Problem is that you are only willing to make changes when you are hurt. When community tries to show you that something is wrong or OP, you never listen. Only when we lowskillers or shitters or whatever you want to call us, become a threat you change physics of game.

Here we go again. I think I'm going to have to follow a forum-only policy now so that when players push for a change, it's transparent to all and the same old people can't keep resorting to the same tired jabs of "aza changes game to benefit himself lol"

I could honestly not give a fuck whether the friendly fire change stays or not - right now I'm so bored of working on BW that I have hardly been playing. But by all means, continue to accuse me of bias. I'm just hoping that the players who requested it will post in this thread so that I don't have to put up with this.

And donations were removed because the KS thresholds were changed to be dependent upon skill. The donation system had a serious weakness in that it continued to be accessible in games where skill was homogenous across all players in a team, leading to donation being the dominant option for KS1 across even the players who were intended to benefit from it because of the great power of KS2s. I did not add donation so that 4.xx players could select it. I also did not add it so that strong teams of 6.xxes could convert all their KS1s to KS2 at the "cost" of someone else using the weapon.
