Raise Maximum Players

I've noticed that this server is very popular and is always full of players. Whenever I come it's either at or near the maximum of 20 people. So I was wondering if you could raise the maximum amount of players the server can hold at a time. If it's too much trouble to do that,I have another idea.

If it's possible you can use a method of elimination. If someone has very little points (like zero to 5 or something) you could give them a warning and then switch them out for someone waiting as a spectator. Also I noticed that players do not get kicked for idling. So if someone is idling they could be switched out for someone who is spectating.

Just some ideas. Usually I'm stuck abusing the "Join" button as a spectator waiting for a chance to join the game. If this has already been asked and answered then just ignore it. Please and thank you! :D

You might want to visit thenicam.ch to get an overview of our servers.
As you can see there , we have two ballistic servers so more people can play it at the same time.
For ballistic servers, 20 players are very much since the maps are too small.
If server one is full, visit server two and play there ;)

Like Takeo said we have a second server equal to the first:

[LDG] Ballistic Weapons V2.5 Pro #2 [CH]
IP: 91.121.23.8:8025

0 to 5 points doesnt say the player is afk. New players first time playing this mod can also have such a low score so you want them kick out too ?
Also I noticed that players do not get kicked for idling. So if someone is idling they could be switched out for someone who is spectating.
If not playing on the server myself or other admins usually watch it through webadmin so if you have any problems with afks or other things feel free to speak. Maybe it can take a short while till someone answers so be patient.

Hey,

we actually had originaly 28 player limit, at which moment we decided to split the server into two 20 players servers (because above 20-24 players it doesn't really work well). A status message about both servers is broadcasted, saying gametype, map, and players on both servers.

Oh okay, I've never seen the second server so I thought that the one I did see was the only one. Thanks for letting me know! :D

I guess a Freon4 would cause an extreme waiting time for the two groups which are completely frozen. It is merely my expectation. You can give it a try ofc, but i'd prefer sticking to original freon ;)

4 team modification is just to "play around", it won't really work for a good game.
