Gunships

Quick overview of the differences between the Venom and the Raptor

- Venom is quicker and more maneouverable
- Venom has double HP
- Venom has shield regeneration after 10 seconds of not being hit, regens ~10hp / sec
- Venom can change weapons using scroll or number keys

Target locking:

- Altfire causes the Venom to attempt to lock onto an occupied enemy vehicle target within a certain radius of the crosshairs. When locked on, the enemy's player name, vehicle type and current hp / maximum hp will be displayed.

Weapons:

- 1. Laser - Fires a 50 dmg laser 8 times per second. Overheats after 17 shots.
- 2. Cannon - Standard cannon fire. Deals 24 damage to infantry and 12 damage to vehicles.
- 3. Soul Seeker Missile - Maneouverable missile. Slow, but will make return passes on vehicles if / when it misses. Missiles hit for 250 and can be fired every 2 seconds.
- 4. Hypervelocity Missile - Extremely quick missile with a long range. Can hit multiple targets as it pierces vehicles and players. Deals 135 damage and can be fired every 1.2 seconds.
- 5. Bombs - Drops SPMA mini-bombs for now.
- 6. Starburst - Fires a salvo of 8 missiles which after a short delay will ignite and lock onto any occupied vehicle target within a certain area around the crosshair at the time the fire button is pressed. Each missile will seek a different target and spare missiles will then double up on existing locks. Each missile deals 40 damage. Starburst missiles have extremely poor maneouverability and will consistently miss fast-moving targets. Starburst missiles can be fired every 3 seconds.

By tomorrow, the admin Venom will reflect damage. If the vehicle or vehicle weapon allows the operator to be damaged, the operator alone will be damaged (Scorps, Benders, Mantas, SPMAs), otherwise the vehicle itself will take damage (every other vehicle). If you summon an admin Venom, try to avoid indirect damage or blocking shots.

can the fps/3th view be fixed?

in 3th view mode u cant properly see the opponent in venom if its fly above you.
fps mode, speak for itself...

I'll probably change the FPS mode to mirror the Raptor.

I'm aware of the issue with the 3rd person view, not sure what to do about it though.

able to zoom out? ( scroll, but thats now used to swap guns)

Scroll should actually zoom in and out on the latest Venom. If it doesn't, I'll revert it.

last time i was in it is still swapping guns

and to fix 3th view, let it act the same way as the raptor, if u zoom out (witch u cant atm) u'll first view it above raptor.

Bomb radius reduced by 80%.
Bomb damage nerfed to 75 from 90.
Bombs fire twice as fast.

Starburst missile knockback cut by 60%.

I motion for a nerf to the healing.

The things are agile like a fly and are as equally difficult to hit. The healing is really unnecesary. It even takes four direct hits to take one out with TB and while your driver is performing evasive manouvers, you aren't going to get half that.

Not to mention the laser weapon will kill your driver in seconds which means you get solo penalty of a 100 damage TB.

Laser damage radius halved (drivers should last much longer against laser attacks)

Seeker missile has a slightly higher fire rate.

Hypervelocity now has a damage radius (for hitting drivers)
Hypervelocity exerts less force upon vehicles.

Bombs do slightly more damage with a larger radius.

Regen reduced by 25%.
