Quick overview of the differences between the Venom and the Raptor
- Venom is quicker and more maneouverable
- Venom has double HP
- Venom has shield regeneration after 10 seconds of not being hit, regens ~10hp / sec
- Venom can change weapons using scroll or number keys
Target locking:
- Altfire causes the Venom to attempt to lock onto an occupied enemy vehicle target within a certain radius of the crosshairs. When locked on, the enemy's player name, vehicle type and current hp / maximum hp will be displayed.
Weapons:
- 1. Laser - Fires a 50 dmg laser 8 times per second. Overheats after 17 shots.
- 2. Cannon - Standard cannon fire. Deals 24 damage to infantry and 12 damage to vehicles.
- 3. Soul Seeker Missile - Maneouverable missile. Slow, but will make return passes on vehicles if / when it misses. Missiles hit for 250 and can be fired every 2 seconds.
- 4. Hypervelocity Missile - Extremely quick missile with a long range. Can hit multiple targets as it pierces vehicles and players. Deals 135 damage and can be fired every 1.2 seconds.
- 5. Bombs - Drops SPMA mini-bombs for now.
- 6. Starburst - Fires a salvo of 8 missiles which after a short delay will ignite and lock onto any occupied vehicle target within a certain area around the crosshair at the time the fire button is pressed. Each missile will seek a different target and spare missiles will then double up on existing locks. Each missile deals 40 damage. Starburst missiles have extremely poor maneouverability and will consistently miss fast-moving targets. Starburst missiles can be fired every 3 seconds.
