As Butcher said, the high recoil means that the lower fire interval does not offset the damage reduction change; it's much more efficient to use the secondary slugs and completely ignore the primary shots, especially as firing 6 shots at 20 - 30 damage each isn't going to kill anyone.

Something that counters knockback would be good. What if there was a weapon which could save people from being knocked back, and pull them back?
It could revolutionize the game.

I changed the SK410 and FS partly because I don't see a way to shut down SAR12 charges. That says to me that there's not enough close-range knockback potential. The intent behind the SK410 is to have a very short-ranged shotgun which also has the ability to fend off charges from other weapons which want to occupy its own range.
