Waiting at obj...
Alright, I asked Markus a couple of times to finish the map while he was at the last obj (scorpion coaster) and he did not... He kept playing at the obj with Demkill. I kept asking for it, he waited for BabyDontHurtMe and fell off then and then BabyDontHurt also did not do the obj and he is now waiting for Markus to do the obj. This is against the rules, right?
Stretching a map with 10 minutes by waiting at last obj is not cool for people who don't want to play the map in the first place

It's a trials map. If people want to allow others to finish, it's up to them. It's equally frustrating when someone gets to the obj without dying, and then does it, leaving nobody else a chance to play the map.
If you don't want to play the map you could always vote or spectate.

Re: Waiting at obj...
I thought the unwritten rule was that if people asked to finish you should finish it? I know I can play on another server but the voting balance & the stretching of RACE maps is annoying the shit of an AS player

Re: Waiting at obj...
The request for waiting outweighs the request to do the objective.
If only the three of you were on the server at that time you already would lose by voting.
If more players were on the server it would be up to the situation and chances of reaching the objective soon or not. Like iRobot pointed out, it's up to the person who is requesting to wait. Personally, I wouldn't let 10 people wait for me to reach the objective, but if it was about 1-4 players I would consider passing on that objective (depending on the chances of me reaching it within 3-5 mins... but again: it all depends on the situation).
Long story short: There is no unwritten rule.

The system doesn't show any deletion of a post by yours. Looks like your pc failed to send the it.

Re: Waiting at obj...
I will contradict.
If someone is waiting at obj on a combat map (not a trials map), it is an offense to hold at the objective, as per the last thread on this topic (on this same page).
If someone is holding at obj on a trials map, I will force map completion if a certain number of active players request completion.
I STRONGLY disagree with holding at objectives on any map. Since trials maps can be played offline, if you play online you should be playing competitively. You should never hold at the objective at all. I'm disappointed that holding at objectives has become commonplace on trials maps. Otherwise the term "race" is diluted. It's honestly no better than good players stacking Def on Assault maps to maximize their playtime.

Re: Waiting at obj...
Well, there were like 20 people playing the map and he was spectating and also just the only person requesting to finish the map, everyone else kept trying. I mean, I also dont like a lot of certain Race Maps because they are either easy as fuck or just look damn ugly but I still play them and at least try to enjoy them. I also prefer AS over RACE in general but if people want to play RACE Maps (if the majority voted for it) then let them play...

You shouldn't be allowed to hold back when you can complete the map, regardless of what the majority voted.

Finishing ASAP isn't always good. You need to hold out a bit, let her enjoy it before you finish.
