As of now, http://ldg-gaming.eu/ will redirect to a new welcome page rather than the portal page. If your browser has cache enabled and it is not full, you should never see the preload again after the first visit. All web pages under the domain still have the same names, so the portal is still portal.php, the forums are still index.php, etc. This means that if you wish to have the portal page the one you always visit from your bookmarks, you can edit your bookmark's URL to accustom this.

Can you modify the address for the logo once on the forum so that it displays the usual homepage and not the new one? I used to click there to refresh the unread messages but now I come back to the new home and it will piss me off very soon.

Agreed. It would be great if the 4 buttons at the bottom would directly lead you to the related site.
E.g. If you on Portal you should be redirected to the Portal of being shown a link to it.
Apart from that the idea and design are a good change. Keep the work up, mate

Up until this point I thought that this new shiny image was just a pun on Windows 8 ._.
Jokes aside now: all links accessible on the new front page lead to the old boards and no other useful functionality is exposed. Also, the layout befits small touchscreens more than it does regular displays, which is odd, considering that using the boards on a touchscreen is a pain, especially when it comes to typing.
