How about buffing something else then, such as FP7. Making the napalm act as a thawing agent would be interesting. I feel the FF should do this too.

FP7 is really falling behind in the grenade rankings. It's not last (loltech) but it's lackluster.

Toxic = Pull pin, wait a few seconds, then throw it, covering half the map with an impassable void for 10+ seconds. Throw onto frozen players to take them out of the game for most if not the entire round.
Pineapple = Throw'n'hope. Large splash so this usually kills or fatally wounds someone.
Medicinal = Self explanatory
Chaff = Great disorient, wish the effect was longer however.
FP7 = ok as area denial, but the toxic does this even better, using it as a direct damage dealer such as you would a pineapple often results in a miss due to the flowing combat.
Tech = Bang, and the nade is gone. With no benefit.

I recall when you had 2 or 3 FP up to 80 hp each, and no one died/froze...
But thaw/heal option allows you not to get in the middle of the mess when all your team is in one spot and there is all the other team camping around... it may thaw the other team too as it does in healing.
Anyway is just an idea.. suggestion

I won't disagree that grenade balance is really shitty. Since I feel that the G28's presence in the grenade slot is preventing me from getting any feedback from better players on how the other grenades stack up against each other, I'm considering moving G28s to Streak 1 temporarily.

Remove G28, add new item called medicinal drip which gives passive 1hp/sec. .=

G28 in its current incarnation is basically like a necro combo, on yourself. Also an almost full heal on yourself gives you +10 adrenaline too, as a nice side effect.

Yeah, adrenaline gain for personal healing will be removed as well.
