1) Take UE4 tools and engine.
2) Import some old UT map data.
3) Build a "demo", with basic movement and a fire button.
4) Hype!
Would only have taken a few hours. The time required to create a finished game comparable to UT2004 will be > 100,000 person/hours.
I almost expect them to announce an attempt at crowd-funding.
Status: Meh .

Implying we won't when it will be added back through mutator and die hard UT99 can gtfo.
On the side note, I wonder how much will new UT be fragmented now that it's opensource. You will surely be able to patch server-side at wish.

Shouldn't have to add UT2004 movement with a mut. They should just do it properly to start with.

We'll see how that goes. I would rather worry more whether they will add Assault mode
from which we can make rais (that's goona be easy: just export our maps from UT2004 and convert them to UT4 maps)
